WhatsApp application has evolved a lot since it was bought by Facebook. One of the greatest features that this application has received is the Voice Calling one. Using it, you are able to make Voice Calls with any WhatsApp friend (as long as (s)he has this feature working on his/her mobile device).
Currently, the WhatsApp Voice Calling feature is available on Android, iOS, BlackBerry 10 and it was finally released on Windows Phone.
This feature was released a few weeks ago for Windows Phone users, when the WhatsApp version 2.12.60 was released. It is good to know that in order to use this feature, your device must run on Windows 8 or later and to have an internet connection. This is why we suggest you to use short conversations or make long conversations only when your Windows Phone device is connected to a Wi-Fi network.
